Exclude Recipients from CRM Email Logging in HubSpot

Written by Ohad Peter | Jan 20, 2025 1:00:52 PM

Emails sent to specific recipients can be added to the Never Log list by super admins in your account so that they are blocked for all users. Sending emails from a connected personal email address, using the HubSpot Sales extension, or from a team email address will not create a new contact record, record email tracking activity on the contact's timeline, or be logged to associated records. Emails sent directly from the CRM will still send, but they won't be logged. HubSpot will still record email tracking activity for all recipients in your activity feed.

Emails sent to addresses or domains on the Never Log list that are logged to HubSpot using the BCC address or forwarding address will not be logged to the contact record.

When sending emails from Gmail or Outlook, you can exclude recipients from CRM logging.

Note: HubSpot will log emails to contacts who are not on the Never log list if recipients of an email are not on the Never log list. Not applicable to third-party integrations, the Never Log list does not apply to email threads sent to them.
