September Product Updates for HubSpot Partners

This month’s product updates from HubSpot will allow you to delight your customers' experience with this wonderful platform. Although working extensively on new hubs for Commerce and AI, this particular session focuses on improvements and refreshments in their Sales Hub.

Prospecting Workspace (available for Pro+)

New task management dashboard configuration

An upgrade from the existing task workspace, you can see progress with tasks that are due today. You can also learn if you've got any sort of sequence enrollments, and how contacts are progressing through the sequences. I've got to look at my schedule here. Hubspot will also recommend suggested activities such as ‘New assigned contacts’ and following actions.

Lead management customization

Add a label to a lead mentioning how cold or hot they are,  see if there were any last activities and update the lead stage. The lead stage will trigger different contact records. It is now much quicker to navigate  and manage, and reduces the amount of clutter for sales teams. Sales teams can also perform various activities like phone calls.

CRM Customization

Data components added to reports, association tables and stage trackers

The Insights tab within a contact record can now be customized without any sort of developer resources, as core information is stored in the contact Associated information.

Easily view your critical information about a contact by bringing a table of your custom objects.

Additional features to contact’s left/right sidebar and middle section

On the left sidebar, we still got our properties. HubSpot has added conditional sections, and you can actually create additional cards on both sidebars. In the middle section, what used to only be an Activity Timeline now has so much more so. This timeline now shows the main KPIs for the contact as well as main properties and associations  in chronological order.

Use case: Instead of having every single person from marketing, sales or C Suite viewing all the data even if it’s not as relevant for him, you can now set it up in a way that every person only sees what's important to them.

CRM record page editor

Add in a custom tab to your overview tab and add tabs to teams. Pull in the associations in the main data highlight. You can additionally pull in reports.

Use case: This comes in handy if you wish to view a certain deal progression, or the amount a client spends over a period of time. You can also pull in different reports right into the contact record

Record create pages - New conditional logic to create records

HubSpot has added new fields in the ‘record create pages’. Let’s for example use the pipeline records. If contact is a net new customer you would wish to see different information than a renewal customer. Respectively, a new customer pipeline will look different than a renewal pipeline. With this new upgrade, it would be far easier to manage these records and make sure the right information is included within the deals.
