HubSpot updates - Google integration

HubSpot has just released a major set of updates for their partners in a variety of its software capabilities: LinkedIn Ads interactions, Sequences functionality, Deals Insights, and much more.

In this post we cover 3 improvements that HubSpot has made with various Google integrations. These updates aim to simplify the way HubSpot users interact with assets like SEO reporting, Enhanced Conversions and Google Ads. Let’s dive right into it:

1. Save SEO Table Report to Dashboards

In HubSpot's SEO tool, users can now save the table report to their custom reporting dashboards by clicking the "Analyze" tab. The following report shows the performance over time of pages for Google Search Console metrics (average position, clicks, click-through rate, impressions).

Use Case

All reports from web reporting can be accessed from a single dashboard now that this change has been implemented.

2. Google Enhanced Conversions

Google enhanced conversions is an ad conversion events feature that can improve the accuracy of your conversion measurement and unlock more powerful bidding. By sending hashed first-party conversion data from your website to Google in a privacy-safe manner, it supplements your existing conversion tags. In order to protect your first-party customer data, such as email addresses, the feature uses a secure one-way hashing algorithm called SHA256.

Use Case

With enhanced conversions, HubSpot will send onsite form fill submission data back to Google server side. This will:

- Recover conversions that otherwise wouldn’t have been measured
- Improve bidding optimization through better data
- Be privacy safe with hashing of first-party customer data

3. Create Ad Goals within Ads

Introducing the ability to create ad goals from within the Ads tool! From Ads' Analyze tab, you can create four different ad goals and track their progress:

- Contacts from first form submission
- Cost per contact in a lifecycle stage
- Network conversions
- Number of contacts in a lifecycle stage

Use Case

Within HubSpot, you can keep track of these important Ad goals alongside all your other important reports.
