Do I need a HubSpot account to build a signature?

No. The public generator is free and runs entirely in your browser — no account, no sign-up, and no email address required. You only connect HubSpot when you want one brand kit across a team.

The install didn't finish. What now?

Check that you approved the permission request on the HubSpot consent screen. If you cancelled or the link expired, start again from your install link. Still stuck? Email us with your portal ID.

What can the app see in my HubSpot?

Your user roster — including names, email addresses, status, team information and job titles where someone has set one — through two required read-only permissions. A third, optional permission reads your own HubSpot meeting link so it can prefill itself; HubSpot offers it on Professional-tier accounts only, and declining it changes nothing else. The app uses it for Team Health and to verify account membership or super-admin status before protected actions. It cannot access contacts, companies, deals, or email content. My contact details show words like “Phone” instead of icons.

That is the signature working as intended. The small phone, email, website and address icons are shared images hosted by IV-LEAD, and many email clients block images until the reader clicks “show images”. Every icon carries its own label as alternative text, so a blocked image becomes the word it stands for rather than a broken box. Nothing is missing and there is nothing to fix.

Can I add a partner badge or a campaign banner?

Yes, both are optional and off by default. Badges are short credential lines — up to four, sixty characters each — and the banner is a clickable image strip under the signature. Add only what you can actually stand behind: the generator will render whatever you type, and a signature outlives the day you wrote it.

My signature looks different on my phone.

Mobile email apps keep their own signature settings, separate from desktop. Paste the plain-text version the app gives you into the signature settings of the Gmail app, Outlook app, or iPhone Mail on your device.

Does the Hebrew (right-to-left) version hold up in HubSpot and Gmail?

Yes. Templates are built with proper right-to-left handling and directional isolation, so mixed Hebrew-and-English lines — names, titles, phone numbers, and links — keep the correct order. HubSpot and Gmail are the flows we document and test.

How do I disconnect?

A HubSpot super admin can disconnect the app from its Settings page at any time. Disconnecting removes the usable OAuth values we hold, blocks further access to the portal, and marks the account for deletion.

Privacy

In the free public builder, what you enter is never sent to us or stored — every field stays in your browser. When you are signed in through HubSpot you can save up to five of your own signatures; those are encrypted before they are stored and are readable only by you.
