HubSpot ↔ Priority and SAP Business One integration, built to survive month-end
IV-Lead, a HubSpot Gold Solutions Partner in Tel Aviv, designs and builds integrations between HubSpot and Priority ERP or SAP Business One for B2B companies in Israel. A deal closed in HubSpot becomes an order in the ERP, the customer exists once, and payment status flows back to the CRM, so sales knows what happened after the signature.

What does a HubSpot–Priority integration actually sync?
Most implementations sync four kinds of records: customers (companies and contacts), orders, invoices, and sometimes the product catalogue and price lists. What decides whether the integration works is the decision, made per field, of which system is the source of truth. Customer master data usually lives in Priority. Deal stage lives in HubSpot. Without that decision for every field, the two systems overwrite each other and finance stops trusting either.
Why do HubSpot–ERP integrations break?
Four causes come up in almost every rescue we do. There is no defined source of truth, so both systems “correct” each other. The sync runs two-way with no rules, so a right value gets overwritten by a stale one. The mapping ignores the Israeli invoice structure and local tax and regulatory fields, so the financial half fails first. And nothing is monitored, so the failure is discovered when an invoice goes out wrong. Every one of these is a design failure, which is why adding another connector rarely fixes it.
How does IV-Lead build one that holds?
We treat the integration as architecture. We define which objects sync, set a source of truth for each field, choose a direction for each stream (most are one-way on purpose), and write down what happens when a record changes on both sides. For most HubSpot–Priority connections in Israel we build on an integration layer, Engini.io, which lets us implement those rules without heavy custom code and keeps them maintainable. Custom API development, against Priority’s REST interface or the SAP Business One Service Layer, is reserved for logic no off-the-shelf layer covers. The rule is to start at the simplest level that solves the need.
Integration layer or custom code?
| Integration layer (Engini) | Custom API build | |
|---|---|---|
| Fits | Standard quote-to-cash: customers, orders, invoices, catalogue | Unique pricing, multi-entity or approval logic |
| Time to first sync | Weeks | Longer; most of it is design |
| Who maintains it | Your team can, with our runbook | Needs a developer on call |
| Our default | Yes, for most Israeli HubSpot–Priority connections | Only when the logic demands it |
Why local depth matters here
A HubSpot–Priority or HubSpot–SAP Business One integration touches Israeli invoices, local regulation and data structures a global integrator rarely meets. A partner that understands HubSpot, the ERP and Israeli billing is the difference between a connection that works and an invoice that goes out wrong. Priority Software has referred customers to IV-Lead for complex HubSpot connections for that reason.
What you get
A written integration design (objects, source of truth per field, direction per stream, conflict rules); the build on Engini or custom API; a test plan run against real records before go-live; monitoring with alerts on the financial stream; and a handover runbook in Hebrew and English so your team can operate it.
Who this is for
B2B companies in Israel running Priority or SAP Business One with a sales team on HubSpot, or moving to it: manufacturing and industrial companies, distributors, SaaS companies with an Israeli finance entity, and larger organisations with a subsidiary that must report into the ERP.
Frequently asked questions
What syncs between HubSpot and Priority?
Usually customers (companies and contacts), orders and invoices, and sometimes products and price lists. Each record type gets a defined source of truth and a sync direction.
Why does a HubSpot–Priority integration break?
Almost always because no source of truth was defined, the sync was two-way without rules, or the mapping ignored the Israeli invoice structure. Those are design failures, so the fix is architecture rather than another setting.
How long does it take to connect HubSpot to Priority?
It depends on how many objects sync and how complex the logic is. A focused connection on an integration layer can go live in weeks; complex pricing and billing logic takes longer. Most of the time goes into deciding the source of truth, not into building.
Do you integrate HubSpot with SAP Business One as well?
Yes. The design method is the same; the build uses the SAP Business One Service Layer or an integration layer, depending on the logic.
Do you use Engini.io or custom code?
Engini for most Israeli HubSpot–Priority connections; custom API development when the logic is unique. We start at the simplest level that solves the need.
Can our own team maintain the integration afterwards?
That is the goal. You get the design document, monitoring and a runbook in Hebrew and English. We also offer ongoing management if you prefer.
